“Thoughts give birth to a creative force that is neither elemental nor sidereal. Thoughts create a new heaven, a new firmament, a new source of energy, from which new arts flow. When a man undertakes to create something, he establishes a new heaven.” — Paracelsus
It begins as a single idea: Mind Control. Not the mind control of others, but of the self. Of our own self! The nearest thing we have control of. So it only makes sense, that one would master this mind and not be overwhelmed by the turbulence of circumstance.
Mind Control (Not What Others Think, But What You Think)
Scouring books and videos alike, I have found so much wisdom within all the ages of human existence. Each have their own take on what is required of one to undergo a type of radical transformation in their life. Especially in texts that appear to be mythical, or mystical in nature.
Nevertheless, any type of philosophy that speaks of self-improvement allows the individual to begin to believe in the power of their own mind, to create a more preferable existence.
Everything can seem to be made entirely of our own mind. This logically makes sense, as nothing could be perceived unless we had the mind to perceive it. Taking this to the end-game, means that literally anything is possible. Exactly like a dream. Only now, we begin to see reality as the dream where we can envision ourselves in full flight.
The mind is the apparatus that we must program in order to rise out of our situation, though paradoxically, we must use the mind to do so. You may therefore say to yourself, “How can my broken mind repair itself, if it does not work”?It may not seem like it right now, but the question answers itself. The answer is always very simple. Utilize mind control.
Mind Over Mind
The new mind has to compete with the old mind. Our old way of thinking is simply the circumstance of our life up to the point of actually using our will to change our attitude. The old mind is like an unseen shadow, constantly pretending to be better than the new mind, which desires to become something more. When the negative thoughts of our old minds are considered more real, than the belief that we are capable of more — we begin to lose ground.
Wait a minute! Do you believe what I just said? Actually, it was a negative thought in disguise! The old mind tricking you into thinking that you can “lose ground” in this endeavor. A positive, light-bearing, new mind, would never dream of saying such a thing. While it is better to believe you never lose ground, keep in mind that negative thoughts seen as real, will always bamboozle your fulfillment. This is the subtlety of “Mind Over Mind”.
Thus, the balance and process! One can explore the many modalities of manifestation, energy work, compassion, belief recognition, and imagination in order to shift awareness away from the old, depressed, angry, or guilty mind into a mind of peace, empowerment, and happiness. All of this, in order that a deeper meditation can be realized. In that deeper meditation, is more bliss and wonder than can be currently conceived by your old mind. The magnitude of which, will result in actions that create much more for you and all.
